About the school

This year’s Speech Day, held in the midst of our 165th anniversary celebrations, was yet another a joyous occasion as the School welcomed back our newest cohort of graduates, and celebrated the achievements of our girls in both academic and non-academic arenas. We were honoured to have with us three Guests of Honour from the DGS family, including alumna Professor Virginia Man-Yee Lee, Director of the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research at the Research University of Pennsylvania; Mrs. Doris Ho, our former School Supervisor who served DGS for almost four decades; and Mr.
