About the school
WELCOME The hallmark of St John’s is the special bond that boys and families form with each other and the way in which they stay in touch in the years after school. At St John's we are committed to our mission, the Marist charism and forming young boys into fine young men. While our achievements in academics, sports, arts and culture are external indications of a fine school, it is not what the essence of our College is all about. We are a Marist Catholic school and we are unashamedly proud of that.

Tuition and fees
International student fees for 2025-2026. Tuition fee of $14,000 is for full academic year (46 weeks). Additional mandatory charges include: Pastoral Care Fee $1,000, Travel & Medical Insurance $800, Administration Fee $850, NZ Government Levy $750, Homestay Placement Fee $450, Prepaid School Expenses $350, Homestay Accommodation $17,020 (at $370/week), Airport Shuttles $400, and NCEA Fees $385 (Year 11-13 only).
