About the school

Another inspiring half term in the UCC Library! Books were brought to life for members of our book club last week when reading champion, Dave Cryer, visited to deliver a workshop about the Carnegie & Spellbinding book award shortlist. The workshop was organised as part of our partnership working with Penrith Library, Westmorland and Furness Libraries & included drama & creative activities based on the shortlisted books. Students' imaginative creations were very impressive & the books have been flying off the shelves since!
